Comments on the license issues.
Do you (projectmayo) feel that your license is in compliance with Open
Source Initiative's Open Source Definition? (see
http://www.opensource.org/) If so, why aren't the license listed as an
approved license? Have you tried getting the license approved? What is
the status of that process?
If you dont feel that it is in compliance... Why have you bothered to
make your own license... There are lots of approved opensource licenses
and surely atleast one must fit you?
Yes, I know. Lots of questions, but in my opinion (and many others I
hope) they are quite important to get answered.

BR,
Mattias Blomqvist

I don't know anything else about it apart the reference software and the
standard.
Other comments are welcome...

Maybe the list is so Quiet for two reasons:
- Developers are using that funky Forum - (In which case I suggest to automatically post forum Messages to the list ...)
- The Reply defaults to the writer and not the list ... (could be changed ...)

---
Don't know much about CVS , Coding and forking - But wouldn't it be better to Integrate the Trees
- Less Work ?

Its scary I am communicating with some People on the V4L list and it seems for example the writer of FFMPEG or FFSERVER has
completely evaporated
Now those Folks are sitting there with each a bit of improvements to the program and they don't know where to integrate it ...

Its summer maybe that explains it :) ?

cheers

Tobias
