Hi... I'd like to code on your project but i'm just learning C now,
but I have some ideias... When we crop the movie we are taking out
the black bars and incrizing the resolution, right? We maybe can do
that and the quality will become a little bit better. But I might
want to see the encoding in dvd's resolution using the black bars...
Why don't include this funcion? You can record the resolution on your
divx file with that option and when we decode the file to see it the
decore can resize the picture to dvd's resolution...
Other thing that i have in mind is maybe we can delete some frames
that almoust look the same incrizing the mount of information that we
can put on a frame... Then, when we decode the film we can make some
compessation...
The other ideia is to port opendivx to BeOS!!! That is an excelent
OS.
These are some ideias, i don't know if it's possible or not...
